This combined bandwidth may be shared by all users on board, or different Internet connections can be reserved for specific users or subnets on the network. Internet Connection Failover The NAS3000 Optimizer allows for configuration of manual or automatic failover between available Internet connections if the primary connection or connections go offline. Users view Internet connections status at a glance using the Optimizer's status screen. Users also receive automatic email notifications whenever the Internet connection status changes. Quality of Service and Bandwidth Management The NAS3000 Optimizer's advanced bandwidth management features allow control of bandwidth allocation based on user name, IP address, subnet, application, protocol, and even destination URL.
